Sounds like we've got a winner. I'll fix the event listing when I get home - I'm using my phone now and I gave up work-surfing for Lent. My chances of showing up are 50-50, but if I do, i'll be bringing the whole crew, including cute 6 month old grandbaby.

i will be there if at all possible. have a planned trip to a couple of spots here in the 817 for saturday - 2 other photographers are coming to meet me from dallas. if anyone is interested in exploring two of the best sites in fort worth PM me and maybe we can all go together this saturday afternoon....

So are there definite plans to creep around somewhere after we meet at Southside, or is this just going to be UER people drinking coffee and talking? I haven't been to a meetup yet, so I don't know what to expect other than what I've read from threads. I kinda need to know for time planning and whether or not to bring any gear. Thanks

There are seldom definite plans for anything, but it's always a good idea to come prepared, just in case. Some of the best plans are the ones discussed in person -- away from the prying eyes of the Internet, donchaknow.

It's looking less likely that I'll be there -- family coming to town has other plans. Y'all post pix and make me wish I'd dragged them along!

It sounds like there was definitely *interest* in this month's meetup. I'm curious how it went, so I can decide how jealous to be. Also, does the time/place look good for next month? The time change means more daylight 'splorin hours (or longer delay until cover of darkness; ymmv).

We had 4 members show, me, strangelv, Stankweed, and Superlocrian. We had some beer and coffee, then went and did some draining for acouple hours. I had an awesome time, met some awesome guys.
