Glo- Toob!

Just got a Glo Toob, for 20 dollars US, and the thing is really cool.
It's an FX, i'm not sure what that means, but it's a little bigger than a double A battery, i got it in blue (of course), and it has seven light modes:
(There's one switch, a twist on-off.)

Equal Strobe: _ _ _ _ _ _
Beacon Strobe: .. .. .. .. ..
Slow Strobe: . . . . .
SOS: ... _ _ _ ... _ _ _
Throb: 0-0-0-0-0 (hard to describe in symbols, it's like the light's
intensity goes up and down, over and over)
100% Constant On: ======================
25% Constant On: ----------------------

It's not as powerful as a medium- size flashlight/lantern, but it could be useful as a signal in case of emergency, and the battery life is 30-80 hours on a single battery, depending on mode. Oh, and it's waterproof up to 3,500 meters, weighs 36 grams (1.3 oz.), and operates anywhere from -20 C to 80 C (-4 to 176 F).
Also, they come in Red, Amber, Blue, Green, White, and Infrared.

They're pretty cool, and provide just the ambient light I need when UE'ing.

Thought I'd let everyone know.

This is the way the world ends.

the difference between the Glo-Toob and the Glo-Toob FX is the FX can do
1. 100% Constant On
2. 25% Constant On
3. Equal Flash
4. Beacon Strobe
5. Slow Strobe
6. SOS
7. Throb
and the Glo-Toob has only 100% constant on.. basically all it matters is the FX can last anywhere from 30-80Hrs and the original only goes for 30 (not at max brightness..)

Then theres the Glo-Toob IR which is the same as the FX only it's an IR light..

and as for buying them just Froogle it.. or try random stores, although I have never seen them in stores..
