| | | This somewhat small ski resort near Traverse City closed in 2000 and has yet to re-open. Has anyone every explored this area? I will be in TC later this month and will make sure I stop by and see if there is anything interesting.

| | | I remember skiing there when I was younger. Don't remember much about the buildings, but the slopes were amazing, and I know for a fact that people still hike and ski them often.

| | | I would say it's worth a visit, I knew people still hiked and skied there but not that often. http://youtube.com/watch?v=-5OfXZiH3s8 I will be going in a week or two, is there anything else interesting up there aside from the newly re-developed state hospital?

| | | DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS LOCATION. I went today, will post pics soon. It is a nice drive however and there are a few abandoned houses along the way but as far as sugar loaf goes, its a complete waste.
