If I'm not mistaken it is an old Royal Air Force (RAF) base that was used as far back as the 1930's. Mostly a fighter base as I recall.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Interesting, if it's really the Biggin Hill which functioned as a Section/Group? fighter base during the Battle of Britain in 1940.

I think they closed the base after the Second World War.

I would have liked to see more outside shots if this really is a fighter base which we are talking about.

Perhaps you should think about investing in a tripod.

Nope, it's based in Biggin Hill however.

Sorry, didn't make it very clear. Getting into the actual base is a bit too difficult, especially if you're holding a camera. Most of the buildings are being demolished to make way for housing

The photos are actually from a "Dancing school" for the mature dancer. It's pretty close to the RAF base, but is not related. I can't remember the details through the mist of my hangover, but as soon as I can get the details I'll post them.
