Are there any explorers in the West Michigan area? My buddy and I are looking for some local places to check out. We've both been to a few really cool locations, but they all required a decent amount of driving. If anybody has some locations in West MI that they'd be willing to share, send me a message. We would also be game for a meet-up with some fellow explorers in the area if anybody would like to do that. Thanks!

I'm from that area. You shouldn't have to look very hard...

There isn't nearly anything as exciting here as there was a decade ago.

Depends on what you're after. There are enough abandoned homesteads to satisfy exploration for years.

Property values are fairly high around where I live, so there isn't a whole lot that's just sitting around abandoned. I suppose maybe I just need to drive out a little further and hope to find something. I did heard there are some abandoned farmhouses in a town East of GR.

I've seen 1000s of abandoned homesteads, a few factories and a decrepit paper mill since I moved here. Detroit's only a few hours' drive, too.
That said, I miss my Rocky Mountain mines and missile holes
