Howdy!

I recently started my infiltration career with a visit down into the steam tunnels under Queen's University in Kingston. It seems like I only found a small part of the system and I'm curious if anyone else has explored them before. I haven't been successful in finding another entrance to a separate branch of tunnels yet. Thanks!

The Queen's steam tunnels were where I first got hooked on tunnels! I first got into them in 2002/3, originally via a manhole just off a pathway between a football field and the tennis courts.

That's probably the way you got in? It connects to the steam plant down by the lake, don't get seen popping your head out!

We followed every branch to their absolute extremes (crawling in sub-basements and stuff) but it wasn't much more than a north-south tunnel with some offshoots going to basements of various buildings.

I got into a few random short sections of tunnel around town mostly due to looking down nearly every manhole in town. I always heard rumors of old downtown tunnels but never had much luck finding stuff.

If you know anyone that works at Tir Nan Og then convince them to show you the basement, I heard the most rumors about a tunnel being there.

Oh, and while I'm rambling about Kingston I'll mention I heard endless rumors of old tunnels connecting a big church near downtown to KGH. I snuck into the basement of said church three damn times and never found a thing though..

Lastly, KGH is said to have steam tunnels in a squarish network underneith it, also rumored to have connection to the 'old tunnels'.
