Hell yeah! Forget what dashing says about you, you just earned 20 cool points from me... haha.
But I generally listen to Clutch when I am driving to an abandonment. And most likely Clutch when leaving, and sometimes even some nice viking metal if I feel victorious after my exploration.
I'm coming down fast, but I'm miles above you. |

| | | I remember one morning I climbed to the highest tower of a new construction site for some uber-expensive apartments in my old town. When I got to the top I could see the whole town and the skyline to NYC. At the time I was listening to "Endless Skies" by VNV Nation and it felt so beautiful. Along with the stillness of twilight, the clear sky, and the soft glow of the sunrise, it all was so serene and tranquil. Definitely one of my favorite memories Here's a quick snapshot of the area:

| | | Gogol Bordello. They have a great song about getting out beyond your town and exploring and finding out the secrets the world has to offer. http://www.youtube...atch?v=3Jv3b0VKec8
And at last I resolved to scale that tower, fall though I might; Since it was better to glimpse the sky and perish, Than to live without ever beholding the day. |

| | | Posted by Furious D Listening to some chilling Radiohead music puts me in a good eerie mood while I explore. I usually listen to something slow and soft with a creepy sound (Godspeed You Black Emperor works great for that). I think personally if I was listening to metal or something heavy and fast, I wouldn't be in the right mood to photograph.
|
Exactly. Radiohead is my favorite to listen to on the way to a UE spot. The two I always listen to on the way is "Everything In Its Right Place" and "Kid A" Then there are various soft songs like "Autumnal" by Angel Blake and "We Interrupt This Program (Jean Claude Ades remix)" Good stuff. EDIT: Also the new Nine Inch Nails album "Ghosts I-IV" [last edit 3/10/2009 1:23 PM by FFStudios - edited 1 times]
