| | | This place was built in 1946 based on property tax records, and shut down in the mid 70's from what I can tell. Don't know much else about it. Lots of junk has been dumped here since, and there was a fire in the building at one point. Plenty of roof collapse and structural damage going on. Lots of freezers/coolers still intact. And some weird airliner seats. Word of warning, I'm no photographer so bear with me. Panorama of the rear of the facility. Front of the building faces a busy road, so no shots from that angle.

| | | Nice. Finding a pair of baby shoes in an old meat-packing plant is especially creepy..

| | | I liked the meat hangers in the cooler and the door in the ground. What was down there? looked like a basement.

| | | Thanks guys! The rusted out door in the brick floored area led into what was a crawlspace I believe. It was flooded though, hard to tell exactly. Also, someone had dumped random debris through the opening so it was hard to gauge the depth. Might've been some interesting stuff down there if it was accessible. The old boat was pretty neat, you'll also notice the outboard motor from it lying on the ground nearby in the above pics. The boat had been out of commission for a while based on the last year it was registered. Here are a few more pics.
