you are right, sorry about that! fixed it.
As for our arrestation, the cops were really rude. they insulted us, kicked us and treated us like real criminals. But once at the police station, we were took in charge by a cool officer who looked like 50 cents, and we were released shortly after without charges.

How the hell did you get arrested in Highland Park? They don't even have a city run police force the last time I checked.

| | | I wonder if the irony of their situation even hit home w/ those cops: The system (at large) shut down their former station for 'lack of funds' (although, of course, there are always TRILLIONS for the pentagon, foreign aid, 'homeland security', the middle east wars, the war on drugs, etc, ad nauseum), yet they will vigorously (if indirectly) protect that same system by arresting and being rude to those who would DARE to trespass and violate the law. And we wonder why 'we', nationally speaking, are in such a rough time....

Official police uniforms, case evidence, guns and other things have been stolen out of there. Not exactly good press. Doesn't surprise me that you got caught there. I've heard of a few people being arrested in a certain abandoned school as well. The DPS is frustrated over all the rampant scrapping going on. Detroit may be an exploring mecca but there's always a chance of the authorities making an example of you.
