| | | A little Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Sublime, NOFX, Bob Marley, or NIN always gets me in the mood. Of course, all depending on the mood I want to be in.

| | | I usually listen to a lil' bit of deftones. Change, Digital Bath and Be Quiet and Drive are great songs because they sort of have an abandoned feel to them. Sometimes, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. If I want something harder, I'll listen to Tool or Mastodon.

| | | I'm a major metalhead and I have a pretty good collection of CDs, with bands such as Children of Bodom, Finntroll, Korpiklanni, Masterplan, and Nightwish. I might have to invest in an iTrip or a cigarette lighter plug-in adapter soon.

| | | Damn, I should have payed more attention to this thread! I just got back from a location I visited right after work. Instead of listing to music, I listened to left-wing talk radio. I was all sketched out that the "man" was going to get me. But then once I got inside the location I was more worried about pigeons shitting on me and forgot about it. Next time, definitely need music. I'm thinking about playing this right before I go in: http://www.youtube...atch?v=VnLhvMStUWU

| | | on the way in, we generally tend to blast the Clash, Muse, or the White Stripes. anything that tends to give us the impression that we are far more bad-ass than we actually are. various rousing film soundtracks also work to this end. i rarely listen to music inside locations; but when going underground, anything by Lustmord turns an ordinary drain expedition into something quite atmospheric and spooky. i have a friend who refuses to enter a drain while we're playing any of his albums. once again, various film soundtracks and ambient artists also provide for excellent atmosphere inside locations.
on the way out, we generally play Tv On The Radio, Radiohead, Band of Horses and Nada Surf.

| | | If there is a chance of getting caught by someone who doesn't want us there we don't listen to anything, we just discuss how we're going to do this. If there is no threat of that we listen to the Drive-By Truckers, Bottle Rockets, The Clash, and Radiohead. We listen to rock music or "southern rock" on the way out.
