That's interesting, because I'm waiting for the day when someone who posted about how they carry a weapon comes on here crying because they got their weapon taken from them, then had the shit kicked out of them and their camera stolen. If you know how to use the weapon, and how to keep other people from taking it, good on ya. However, I highly doubt the largely internet tough guy population of UER can say that they're highly trained.

I'd really like to hear more about the other explorers he's encountered who are carrying snub rifles and handguns during "night missions." Please don't take him seriously. He's just another little Dylan Klebold in the making.

Too funny. Good personal hygiene and great meth. You only get that far if you make it past the trip wires and the dogs that bark nerve gas.

Or post the ever popular "I just got busted UEing with a sawed off shotgun". People who explore at night with weapons sound a lot like armed robbers... First rule of self defense is to avoid a confrontation whenever possible. Real criminals carry guns with the hammers back. Coming soon, "How I UEed a drive by, and posted the pics before bleeding out."

Well. Someone is on their high horse. Whether they were true UEers or not, I saw one with a pellet handgun. My friend saw the 9mm, not me. Aaand.....one UEer, Roadwolf, does carry such pellet handguns, and CADPATS, and a CADPAT amy helmet as well. I saw him don these on numerous missions. People do carry this kind of stuff. I have nothing against him or others that do this, I just tell it like I see it. -Octane

Carrying a weapon for self defence doesn't make you an "Internet tough guy", that's like saying a women that has a stun gun or pepper spray in her purse for safety when she walks to her car in a dark parking lot is a Tough Girl, or that it's not necessary. For those that brandish weapons, carry guns, and wave them around, that is stupidity and they deserve to have the shit kicked out of them. I am going to say this one last time. I carry a telescopic baton, that is in a holster on my belt for safety reasons, it has never been used or even removed from said holster in all the years I have done UE, nor is it illegal in Ontario OR considered a lethal weapon. And I have been trained on it's use. But I will be damned if the day comes when I meet any angry group of people that I wondered across that didn't want me there, and I don't have said defence on me to protect myself and my possessions.

You make a very good point there, I agree blinding light works well and so does a six cell mag light, in fact that would do more damage than my baton.

you seriously went somewhere and asked someone to train you on how to use a telescoping baton? I bet that shit would get snatched out of your grip before you even got the snap on the holster undone NANCY CARRIGAN STYLE>>>>RECOGNIZE

Retrofit the six cell mag with a 100Watt Halogen Bulb something along the lines of http://www.wickedl...d_Lights-74-0.html and you'll have a War Club that will make the seeing blind and the blind see. Complete Overkill I know, but soooo cool.

I would be afraid to use that if someone was with me. Ha ha ha! Pretty expensive too, I can't see the bulbs lasting a long time in that thing. Wow crazy!
