| | | Try the steam tunnels on campus. Don't know much about them and have never been there so you would have to do some research, but may yield some interesting results if you're into that kind of thing. Here's a helpful link maybe: http://members.tri...nel/zjournal1.html I know several people that go to CU but none of them is into UEing. Check it out though, and let me know if you find anything interesting. -MM

| | | I might check this out, I wasn't aware that CU had steam tunnels, but after reading that description it I know where a few of the entrances are. They are working on the steam tunnels near Libby hall so I might see if I can get in.

| | | eudaemonistic and myself found a shit ton of entrances to the CU tunnels, but unless one's already open, you'd need a special tool/key to open it.

Yeah, there is a lot, do you know if the grates that are right next to the hatches lead into the tunnels at all, I didn't get a good look into the grate to see if they did.

| | | Yeah, I've seen several of the entrances but I don't know the tool you need to open them. Also, I have heard rumors of people getting expelled for entering them, in which case that kind of dissuades me a little bit.

| | | So, they are doing work on the tunnels and aren't locking them up with that special tool, just thought I should let you guys know. Also some of the locks on a few of the hatches are broken so I'd assume that they are easily accessible.

| | | Posted by imprezawrxsti supposedly there's a sanatorium up there somewhere, but i haven't found it.
|
The sanatorium is now the Mapleton Hospital. The girls school did burn and was razed. Boulder property is just too valuable to leave it standing empty for long.

| | | There's not much in general in Boulder itself because the property values are way to high and it seems like all the hippies and itellectuals like to fix up anything old and cultural. There are lots of cool drains and old hidden things on the CU campus itself but you really need to know what to look for and be pretty fearless. I've worked there off and on for 8 years and have poked around a bit but you really have to keep an eye out because CU has tons of cameras everywhere and they have staff that just sit there and watch them all the time (we use these for the football games and to take students photos on 420). They're everywhere so you'd have to find a way into one of the tunnels that's out of the way. Some of the best ways are through some of the really old buildings but you'd have to have a friend with the school because usually access is locked.
