| | | Cool series! I like it! The pic's have a good underground feel - dark and a bit spooked.

| | | Wow, I love this set! Amazing textures and just very good processing. The pictures are just technically really good and clean. #4 in particular...the composition bugs me a bit but it's just super sharp and clear and awesome. Very very nice work. I would probably buy a print of some of these. [last edit 7/25/2007 2:16 PM by desmet - edited 1 times]

| | | #7 is very nice, a good people moment. Reminds me of a happier variation on this Eugene Smith photo: http://www.masters...h/smith_miners.jpg edit: 8 and 9 are very good too. I think the first two shots are kind of weak compared to how good the rest are. [last edit 7/27/2007 2:06 AM by mortimer - edited 1 times]

| | | Thanks for all the comments, These photos formed the basis of some recent work for my degree and have been entered in a competition for emerging British photographers (the prize being £3000) so I'm hoping that they do well there too.

seconding this, I don't normally spout this kind of thing out, but I do think they are that good. Good luck with the contest.
EDIT-I think as a set, ejecting 1 and 3 would make this set stronger. They are both strong photos, but they are repeated/just aren't as good as the rest. [last edit 8/11/2007 7:24 PM by SumoPope - edited 1 times]
