| | | Mystery Structure In South Carolina. < on 5/28/2007 7:19 PM >
| | | I was on vacation going to Atlanta, and stopped in SC for the night. I took this picture of this "mystery structure". I wanted to go over to it pretty bad and look close, but there is the fence in the way. Any ideas on what this might be? http://hometown.ao...omepage/index.html [last edit 5/28/2007 8:13 PM by Metallian - edited 3 times]

| | | Looks like an old weigh station for a dump, but it is just my opinion.

| | | That there is what the truckers call a "Chicken Coop"... a bonafide, certified road-side weigh scale.

| | | my first guess judging from the number of stairs to the left is its the foundation from a crossdock, they dont usually put scales 4-5 feet in the air up here at least with no ramps to get to it

| | | From what I can see in the pictures, it looks like a very unique abandoned wasteo'time. Good find! Just kidding (they can't all be gems) happy hunting Metallian.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |
