| | | This is getting quite big! Over 120 locations and growing. Check it out! If you have any suggestions please list em! I found a drain canal that suddenly disappears underground under the Biltmore. Can you guys help me find the exit point? http://www.communi..._info/96330/776525 [last edit 5/8/2007 3:33 AM by benstern - edited 1 times]

| | | This rocks, I already knew about a couple of the drains around the metro center area, but a lot of these places are new to me. Thanks to whoever started this *thumbsup*

| | | @Benstern: It exits before 40th st, still along the canal, just before a field of some kind. I scoped it in person but didn't go in. The buildings to the north and east have security guards and cameras (a school and office buildings respectively). Physically entering the tunnel from that end is easy (hop a fence), but according to posted signs there's potential jail time if you get caught. The 24st entrance is not feasible, since less than 100 yards north is a police station, plus the canal is at least 25 ft deep at that end, meaning some kind of roped climb. | | | Map is coming along great! Thanks for adding all that stuff, especially the County's maps. I've bookmarked those to start checking out the city's underground. Looks like there's plenty to see.

| | | Where'd the map go? Can't find it, and the link just directs me to the homepage. I checked out the Biltmore tunnel. Pretty straightforward, nothing more special than graffiti and some stray cats down there. There's only one side tunnel of a size worth exploring, but I wasn't able to that day. I'll probably go again when monsoon is over. [last edit 8/13/2007 10:14 PM by H3TZL - edited 1 times]
