| | | When you have a chance, take a look at the Union Station blueprints at the Faculty of Architecture and Art Library basement. There is an interesting stairwell in the plan that is directly inline with the Fort Garry.

| | | Posted by DrranXCore all just myth, apparently it's just a 40 ish inch steam tunnel connecting the smokestack at the forks and the hotel
|

| | | Calgary has the same thingand we did it a few years back. They tore down our train station to build the Calgary tower but the tunnel to the Palliser hotel remains and now connects to the basement of the Calgary Tower complex. http://uea.ca/view....php?photo_id=2800 http://uea.ca/view....php?photo_id=1161 I know some photos are blocked. After we posted the pics of this tunnel the building manager fired the security guard and had a very dishonest and nasty article put in the paper about us. Plus it is Class A terrorist target since it is a landmark like the CN tower or the space needle.
If you ever come to Calgary then email [email protected] and you'll be made welcome, taken to locations and given free accommodation. We'll help save you the $$$ you spend on the flight over here :) |
