This site is a bit odd. And it may not seem to have anything to do with abandon buildings. But someone recently laied out the life of an abandoned building that should clear up uer's place in things
The first summer the scrappers will arrive, the locals will party there, then the 'UE Tourists. They will photo the hell out of it and act like they're so cool for getting in, someone will stupidly add it to the UER LDB, it'll show up on all the UE photo snobs sites, retaking the same photos others have already taken and acting like they're not a bunch of johnny come late morons. People will be going there all day every day, someone will start a fire or three, it'll become a huge ethics fiasco with everyone who touches anything being called the devil again for apparently looting and trashing the place. Perhaps even some noobies will be mugged for their nice expensive cameras. The security co. will be fired & replaced at least three times. The local police will finally realize the place is a target and send in some teams, arrests will be made, the buildings will keep on decaying to fuck, and it'll basically be over. |

| | | You give UER way too much credit or you just need to take a few steps away from the computer and calm down.
Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you. |

Its only mentioned once "someone will stupidly add it to the UER LDB". Your mistaking UE in general for uer.
As to crediting the quote; I dont want to tell. But Boffo probably knows. [last edit 12/29/2006 5:37 PM by Junix - edited 1 times]

| | | The context you wrote it made it suggest you were referring to UER. As this is a thread asking if the website is for still life photo critics or urban exploration. And no I don't actually know the quote, so I can't help you out with that one.
