| | | I woke up at 5:45AM on Saturday to drive out and spend a Saturday in Concrete, WA.
Here are some selects from my exploration of the Old District School:
It was a nice trip. As for the rest of my photos: www.flickr.com/photos/vectorsnob Cody.

| | | Ah, didn't have enough time. My friend had to be back in Seattle by 1PM. This school was a nice distraction, though. There will be a "next time." Cody.

| | | Thanks! It was one of my more productive photo-adventures...and I didn't even get to see The Concrete Plant, which was the main reason for going. Cody.

| | | Wow great find. I think that would be better then the factory, but that's just my opinion. I'd love to go check out that school.

| | | Great, I would love to go back soon. There is so much left to be explored in Concrete, WA. And they have a good pizza place, surprisingly. Cody.

| | | Well, hey i'm new to this site and new to seattle. Your style of exploration is great, i'd love for some info about sites around the area. I've done this kind of thing since childhood, just never let it die. Would you like to get together for some trekking sometime? There seems to be a lack of explorers around here... Anyway, i'm going to look for that school tonight. Hope i find it. Great pictures, too. thanks a bunch! [last edit 10/4/2006 7:30 AM by Mulengro - edited 1 times]

| | | I love this location. If I might make a couple of suggestions-- it seems like some of these photos are a tiny bit overexposed. I have this problem too sometimes, especially when there's a window in the shot. If anyone would care to advise on how to cut down on the bleaching effect? Also, next time you return, I'd suggest taking more shots of the toys, but from the level of a child. Get down next to them, see them on a child's eye-level. Nice work, though-- I really enjoyed this set. -K

| | | Thanks! The best way to deal with blown windows is to bracket a couple of RAW exposures and combine them in Photoshop. I was in a bit of a hurry with this one, so I didn't do it...I wish I did, though. Cody.
