it was nov october of 2002, from infiltration: "When 922 audience members are taken hostage by Chechen rebels during a performance at a Moscow theatre, Vadim Mikhailov, of the Diggers of the Underground Planet, leads the Russian authorities into the theatre by a little-known underground route."

The Diggers are amazing. Just goes to show you that you don't have to be online to be a kick-ass explorer Then again they have a great city too. Moscow is like one giant sewer/tunnel network.
