What pentalies/fines can be put on you for UE. Also, as a minor, am I immune to such penalties? Or do they still apply?

Have any of you been personally charged by law enforcement officials before?

Penalties and fines vary by area. Reasearch your local laws.

There are persons on this site have various encounters with security, site owners, and police.

WTF indeed.

This may answer some questions for you.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

minor won't get your out of trouble, unless you are with an adult, then maybe, or if you are with an adult and the police system is too lazy to do things with 2 different court systems (it happened to me, well i got in trouble she didn't). So you might get off, you might not, but really most things are just fines, community service, and probation. It's considered a 3rd class misdemeanor in Virginia, and probably other states.

you can get in some real deep shit if you get caught, I hear if you get cuaght the penalty is the death-sentance, UE'ing is a serious business and you should only do it if you are fully aware of what will happen.

The hennepin county courts are very much willing to give a kid a second chance, or a third chance, that is assuming the cop who busts you even decides to press charges. I went through the courts so many times as a teenager in this state. They're pussies. and one of their juvie lockup places is an abbandoned nike misile base, now that doesn't sound to bad does it.... almost like a reward. They put me there for a month or so once on a drug charge.

They dont give a shit though, as long as you act like you're really sorry, and promise to never make that mistake again to the judge, he'll give you some STS, and send you on your way. Then it gets cleared off your record when you turn 18 anyway.
