Yes, they're very good. And minty fresh.

| | | I say so what if we in the South US region like to go out on total off topic tangents! It keeps things interesting. So uh, on topic I have explored several mental health related abandonments here in Texas but only once something that could be considered an "asylum" and even then it was somewhat questionable. The other places I'm talking about are more along the lines of AA, drug rehab and mental retardation facilities. Not to say that they weren't very interesting mind you. Edit: Er, um... well I'm still off topic as I thought this was a differnt thread. Doh. [last edit 3/22/2006 10:52 PM by RevSM - edited 2 times]

Nah, I think you're more on topic than some of us.

| | | There's an abandoned Charter Hospital in Lubbock, but it was suuuuper boring. Does that count?

Hah, it counted for me. Charter Health Care went out of business in the late 90's so there are places all over Texas but most have been re-used. But hey, at least when I went there it still had lots and lots of stuff left behind. Maybe the one you went to was different but (early in my UE career) it was pretty interesting and fun for a modern building.
