Looking in BC?

Im J from Van, is it possible to find some expansive factory ruins in the lower mainland...just a hint in the right direction might be nice. I know locations are researched and secret, but BC is a big place...

I don't know any actual factories, or how well you know Vancouver. My info may be quite dated, or obvious, but the shipyards in North Van are sometimes interesting. Or possibly the old grain towers on the Van side of the Second Narrows. Maybe the rail buildings, on the North Shore, closer to the Second Narrows.

Does anyone know what that huge NASA Cold War Missle silo looking thing is that is visible to the south from Burnaby? A forest products plant? Is it still in operation? I've had some good luck at the Shipyards years ago, but didn't really get into buildings, just up close to the ships.

The best UE experience I've had near Van is the Brittania Mine, again some years ago. (You likely saw the post of the dude looking for someone to explore that with) I'm currently on Vancouver Island. Good Luck.

My sister is Charlotte Light and Dark. Who am I?

Ahhh, sorry I'm such a dummy, you are of course the Britannia poster.
There's also some cool stuff nearby in the woods, tailing trenches, very overgrown roads. You probably known, there was an old townsite up in the woods a few miles. Maybe some remnants?

Hey thanks for the tips alien, yeah i pretty thoroughly checked out britannia when i lived there, but would like to go back for photos in some decent light (most of my visits were at night). I've seen pics of old industry spots in europe (www.abandonedplaces.com) and would love to find something similar here. I dont know if such places exist here. A giant, old factory complex would be great. Also, i saw a couple of old hospitals and asylums on the wraiths site, and would love to check these out. Anyone in the lower mainland down for this stuff, reply or email me ([email protected]) Again my name is J...

Oh, and yeah I know that silo building you are talking about, in Richmond, i think? I work nearby it, and it is an active factory, lumber i believe? Sure looks cool though...

Ive briefly been in that refinery (Shell?) down by the water near Confederation Park one night, but had to be quick, as it is active. My friends and I stealthed our way past pipes covered in ice and climbed on some catwalks and onto a medium tank. The flames belching from the stacks make for great photo light too. Only saw a couple employees...

Yeah I've had my eyes on the refinery near confederation park for a long time now. The chevron refinery, if I'm not wrong, it looks like good stuff. Care to post the pictures online for all of us to enjoy ?

I think I know the one you're talking about, I can see it from my street, though I'm in south Burnaby. I think it's a concrete plant. Been there as long as I can remember.
