| | | UER Mobile < on 1/5/2006 3:46 PM >
| | | I've spent some time upgrading UER Mobile (motivated in part by my new PPC cell phone). It's tested to work properly with Internet Explorer available on Windows Pocket PC, specifically WM5.0, but it should work better in any mobile or cell phone browser. Specifically upgraded are the searches, profile display & edit, buddy list, recent views, front page, messages inbox and read, and much more. Access UER Mobile by typing this URL into your device: http://mobile.uer.ca I'll try to keep UER Mobile up to date with changes to the site. Enjoy! -av

| | | Great! I didn't know you were doing this. I have been growing crazy trying to navigate the regular site on my phone. One thought/request: It would be great, I think, to have the "Your Stuff" links at the top, like on the regular site. That's what I use the most, so I'm not keen on scrolling down all the way to get to them. But, in all, very very cool. Thanks a lot!
Also, I just noticed that the Read State icons don't work on my device (Sidekick II) for the My LDB page. Since I also don't see the LDB accessible in the mobile pages, I guess that's not a high priority.
Again, thanks!

| | | Sweet. now I have something to do during health class. All we do is read from the textbook, and there is about 40 of us so I don't read to often. Whoever decided to make a stylus look like a pen is a genius, it always looks like I'm taking notes.

Yeah I figured since the LDB isn't mobile-compatible, there was no need to make the My LDB page compatible. -av

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
