Congrats, now you can be charged with B&E on top of trespassing. Great idea. Amateur.
|
yeah you dont want a B&E on your record those can be nasty, my friend once had one of those. for me i usually stick with a place that I can waltz right in without having to break anything.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. |

| | | B&E on your record doesn't enter into it. Messing up the places we love is unacceptable. The doors & windows on the first floor are boarded up? Go in through the second floor. Those are boarded up too? Try a tunnel. There aren't any? Boo-hoo, find another place to explore, where you don't have to break things. Pry bars are good for one thing: popping manhole covers. | | | after second comes the third floor, nth floor, roof. and then your tired and you just climbed up a building so its ok. Also, breaking into the roof (assuming its a good climb) is more acceptable, as its just funny to watch druggies try to climb up drainpipes.

| | | Exactly, always try to see if there is roof access. You can find this out for sure by checking the building codes of the time period in which the place was built. Most buildings do have some sort of roof access in case of a fire. If not, it would be in the form of a ladder being attached to the side of the building, accessable through a second (or higher) story building.

Breaking into the roof? Still B&E if you force entry. If you damaged the roof so it leaks it can and most likely will cause serious water damage to the structure; that's worse than breaking a widow. Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away.

| | | As much as I hate to support necroposting......... Some people may have misunderstood. Break into a door on the roof. Half the time these aren't locked for some fire regulation or another. Don't saw through the roof. And yes, it is B&E. aka Tresspassing II. But personally I try to avoid property damage. To recap: Doors / hatches on roof. Not all new testament digging through the roof and lowering people in.

| | | The best way through a boarded door or window is a D9 Cat. You have my word, it'll work every time. There couldn't possibly be any easier ways in.
