Provencher pedestrian bridge

Has anybody done the "spike" yet on the Provencher ped bridge? Obviously it's meant to be accessed somehow; there's a hatch up high and some rungs so that workers can get to the cable attachments up there.

Some preliminary scouting seems to indicate that access at the bottom may be through the restaurant, but further study is required.

Would make a nice catch...

You might also be able to get to it through the utility access ways in the bridge.

That would actually make a bit more sense then having it in the restaurant.. will have to look a bit closer methinks.
