As this has been said before, drive around, lok around, I'm sure you'll find places.

Look at maps and try and figure out where there have been rural rail line abandonments. Just drive around and find things. That's what I did last year during my nine days in Saskatchewan. Here is the link to my Saskatchewan page, http://winnipeg.ur...Sask/saskindex.htm

Hey look how slow I am, but it is nice to see another explorer in Saskatchewan. MapArt makes a Saskatchewan Road Atlas that shows all towns whether they were a real settlement or just a name on a map (generally just a railway siding). The Road Atlas also show Twp & Rge roads and has been an awsome guide for me. You can pick up the 2004 edition for $5-10 at pretty much any gas station.

Otherwise just keep your eyes open when you are driving around the province, there are some awsome sites to see, you just gotta be looking.

Good Luck with your exploration.

I have a book about ghost towns along the Red Coat trail in South Sask. Alas I don't have the book handy at the moment.

Farm houses, farm houses, farm houses.
