If you're dealing with a door that is secured by a Mag-Lock, putting a quarter between the magnet and the strikeplate will cause the magnet to engage, but not very well...a decent push/pull on the door will open it back up again.

Very good idea. Most guards checking doors probably wouldn't even notice the difference since the door still 'feels' locked.

As for the dremel I really don't see it being of much use. Please if you get caught, you just have that much more explaining to do.

I have a miniature cro-bar that hides very well in a pair of pants I keep in my bag. It's gotten me out of the occasional sticky situation.

If you really feel the need to have a dremel to cut locks, why not just a small set of Bolt Cutters (or as i would say UNIVERAL KEYS!!!)

If you're into hack saws and stuff on sites [which I'm not] you should try a Remington Rem-grit rod saw. It's a piece of [i think] aircraft cable with carbide grit impregnated on it, and will go through hardened stainless like butter. It goes on your hack saw frame like a regular blade. My school uses these to cut locks off of lockers, when bolt cutters just won't do it or won't fit. They also cut in any direction, and on the forward and reverse stroke. ~Grit.
