BTW, the name on the inside of the locker near the beginning is DeZalia (Dee za lee ah) They are a family from Schroon Lake/North Hudson. A branch of the family has a garage on Route 74 heading towards Ticonderoga.
[In reference to Skelly saying about dismantling the site]Actually, there were trucks coming out of there hauling scrap metal until 1999 or so. These trucks had red trailers and almost looked like trailers belonging to scrap metal guru George Moore from Keeseville NY. I would dare say that NL Industries had NO intention of ever opening this back up ever. It would take an incredible market conflagration to ever open this mine up again.
the north rougher was as far as WillyG and I ever went into that part of the plant.
anyways, for some reason, I can't get beyond the 10 minute mark because my computer is a piece of shit. Nice work, though...
Skelly, I still have footage of WillyG and I out there in 2003. I told Dukes about it, but i am lazy and haven't made copies. Give me something to do this weekend.
