| | | Hello everyone! My name is Texie, I'm from San Antonio, Texas, and I'm 21 years old. I've been into urbex since I was in middle school, and Six Flags New Orleans had been at the top of my bucket list for YEARS. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to do an internship for a few months in New Orleans at the beginning of this year. Many sources say that SFNO is supposed to be torn down relatively soon, and I knew I'd most likely never have another chance to explore the quintessential Abandoned Place I'd dreamed of for 10 years, so I scoped it out, researched as much as possible (even though I've already seen every inch of the place on YouTube and the Closed for Storm documentary lol), and went by myself. Hands down, one of the coolest things I've ever done. I ducked security quite a few times, but I got a great vlog out of it! That was only in March, so I'm still relatively new to the actual exploring part, but since then I've gone to three other places: Plaza Tower in NOLA - the 5th tallest abandoned building in the world, Splashtown water park in San Antonio - which has unfortunately since been leveled to build a dumb car dealership, and the San Antonio Juvenile Home for Boys/Home for the Aged - definitely the riskiest yet, since it's Bexar County Private Property. My YouTube channel is called lonelystarstate, if anybody is interested! I also bring a disposable camera to every location, so I can't wait to share more of my explorations with people who also like to trespass (or watch other people trespass) for fun!

Exploring underwater, too.

| | | Hello all! I'm somewhat sensitive about giving out my name, so you can call me J. I've been exploring across Long Island since I was a young teenager, and after most of my usual haunts got shut down tight, I took a lengthy break. Figured that now was as good a time as any to get back into it! Looking for a new crew and new places to see. I'm particularly interested in the New York City tunnels, as well, but haven't yet had the nerve to check them out. At least, not while outside of a subway train. I've recently gotten SCUBA certified, too, and plan to expand my "urban exploring" to shipwrecks, once I get enough experience to safely do so. Let me know if you have any suggestions or are willing to take someone on if you're around!
