| | | I'm curious to see how the protests/riots are going in other cities and how it's affecting the nearby buildings. Use this post to share your pictures from protests, riots, or looting, not your political opinion, please. On Friday, I photographed the George Floyd Protest (which devolved into a riot) in Downtown Atlanta and got to see how bandos are made for the first time. I've never witnessed childbirth, but I guess this is the next best thing. Sorry for the watermarks, I've already had problems with people trying to steal my images. I've tried to keep my pictures somewhat building-related. DSC_0687 by goon1 !, on Flickr There were about 10 police cruisers and a few police vans parked on the street. People completely destroyed them and set them one on fire. When the highly flammable tear gas was released, the fire spread to some of the other cars and vans. It was hard to tell the difference between bullets popping in the fire and actual gun shots. Everything from local bars, to the CNN Center, to the College Football Hall of Fame, were vandalized, looted, and then burned. Sometimes, not in that order either. This is really just the tip of the iceberg of what happened on May 29th. If I could share videos somehow I could show the extreme amount of destruction, vandalism, and looting that took place.

| | | Posted by Steed You might want to consider whether you want anybody's faces visible though.
| Just remembered how Atlanta Police used drones to take pictures, facially ID, and record everyone at the protest. About 5 drones were swarming the riot at any given time. Not sure if anyone besides myself and the anarchists knew what was happening. Has anyone else heard of this happening in other cities? I don't have any doubts that APD will try and prosecute the people who looted, destroyed property, burned police equipment, and committed some of the many acts of violence against police officers and others looting. Here's a picture of a drone rising above the smoke: DSC_0553 by goon1 !, on Flickr And two more drone pictures, unwatermarked, for your viewing pleasure : DSC_0570 by goon1 !, on Flickr DSC_0546 by goon1 !, on Flickr
