On a cold day in fall of 2018, I set out to explore a spot that had been on the top of my to-do list for a few months. At the time, the spot had yet to blow up and thus was completely free of graffiti, unlike today. While I was just getting into photography in urbex, I think my shots still managed to show the beauty of this place. It was definitely an explore I'll never forget.

To my surprise, all the buildings were wide open, and unlike what I had heard previously, there was no security whatsoever.

Oddly enough, every room in the main hotel building was empty except for those on the top floor. I never even got around to checking out the other main hotel buildings to see if they were any different, as the sun had set by the time I was leaving. I was hoping to return sometime, but I think seeing it in it's current, vandalized state would just be upsetting to see. The resort has plans to be restored and converted into a sports center, however, their planned opening date of 2020 doesn't seem plausible as they haven't even started work. The future of this place is most likely uncertain.
