Abandoned Steel Mill that was first brought to my attention on this very site by The Swan Station.
The day that we explored this place I received some terrible news. My wife had called me that morning to tell me that a very dear and long time friend of mine had passed away over night of a heart attack at just 37 years old.
This news hit me hard, it still does to this day. Of all the locations we explored on this trip, I used this one to reflect on my friend Victor.
It was totally silent, calm and serene in here and the factory was vast. Also, making for an even more meaningful experience was all of this lush green growth that was taking over the plant.
At times I found it difficult to shoot or to concentrate and spent a lot of time just wandering.
When I look back at my photos from this day, I can see a difference in the way I shot and in the way I saw things.
These photos and this location will always make me think of him and that is why each photo, my gallery and my video are dedicated to my good friend Victor.
Here is my take on this beautiful location, I took a lot of pics!!
