This last weekend I did some exploring in a new area, and while my first location was sealed up, the second one was rather successful, if not very exciting. As I made my way home, I drove by this motel, partially damaged by fire; so, with some daylight left, I pulled over and began what ended up being a nice little bonus on my trip.
No vandalism that I saw, and while there was some obvious fire/water damage, and many of the rooms were gutted, there was still alot to see, some of it like a sad little time capsule. When I got home, I Googled the name of the place and found an unexpected surprise...this little place had been used in a movie!
I figure it's probably best to be as discreet as possible, so I won't reveal anymore about its claim to fame. I had also learned that the fire occurred after abandonment, and is suspected to have been electrical in nature. Hope you all enjoy!
1. The lobby...get your snacks and ice!
2. This area looked like the caretaker/owner apartment...so much left laying around!

24. I don't know why this room was made up...it was the only one with furniture in it. It was homey, in a creepy "don't look behind you" kinda way...
