We recently took a trip to one of the biggest city's in my state, and had a ball exploring there for a day. i now have a large back log of places i need to post. so i'll begin with two large schools.
the first one was built in 1903, and was forced to close in 2005 due to lack of funding. its been beaten up pretty badly since then.

This next school was built in 1915. it was closed during system wide closings a couple of years back. the information i found on the internet says it closed in 2016, but due to the advanced decay and stuff i found on the inside, it seems more likely that it closed around 2007. this place is completely boarded up. i don't know how the city would get in here considering every door is blocked as well. we were kind of lucky to find a board pulled off. they go out there every couple of weeks to put more boards on it.
