To the OP
Hoping you will take this advice kindly...
As someone who posts to multiple sites and multiple audiences and platforms, I have learned a few things about how to appeal to them all in different ways.
You can't talk to UER the way you talk to Youtube, you can't talk to youtube the way you talk to facebook, you can't talk to facebook the way you talk to instagram and you can't talk to Reddit at all!!
Know your platforms, know the respective audiences and know what makes them each tick.
UER wants to see photos and an embedded video and they want to know about the explore, the experience, maybe some history.
Facebook wants to see things that make them reminisce of the old days
YouTube likes sensationalism, big video captions, collaborations etc
Reddit doesn't like anything but a simple caption, maybe 1 or 2 crossposts and SOMETIMES they are okay with you putting links to see more in the comments section.
Every platform has a different mood and I have by no means mastered them...but I've picked up a few things in my experiences with them all.
that's my $.02
