I used to go to the big switch yard in Atlanta and roam around (no one seemed to care if you were in there so long as you stayed out of their way and off the tracks) but recently I went back and found that my favorite part of the yard that over looked the city had been essentially dug up. There's only one track, no more trains, just a bunch of barbed wire and piles of railroad ties. Does anyone know why they tore it up or have any other suggestions for similar places inside the yard?
