Recently got into an amazing coal power plant that is to be demolished before the year's end. The site was decommissioned when its owners deemed it too costly to upgrade it to EPA standards. The plant is almost completely vandalism free, and the vandalism there is from the recently placed construction crews. Above all, it still has power.

Now I entered the area where power would actually be generated. The turbines and equipment were in pristine condition, it appeared that it would not take much to get it running once more.

The final picture is of the doors throughout the place which looked as if the belonged more in a psychiatric hospital than a power plant.

At this point I began to feel sick and left before seeing the roof of the complex. I will definitely be returning soon. This location is the third I've seen that truely impacted me. It's easily made it as one of my favorites. Thanks for viewing and let me know what you think!
