Many "Neighborhoods" exist like this one in the suburban area outside Atlanta. Many housing developments were cut short, like the one pictured here, during the housing market crash in 2008. In this case, roads, sewers, power, street lights; all installed ready and waiting for homes. This development got about 20 homes installed before they stopped, leaving about 1 and 1/2 miles of finished area without structures. There's even a parking area where a pool or tennis courts may have been installed. However, as the area begins to be developed again, this neighborhood may be picked back up by another developer and completed. Wouldn't be too hard seeing as half has already been completed. 1.
