And therein, as the bard would tell us, lies the rub.

Unless things have changed drastically since last year the river has dropped 50ft or the property owners paid industrial divers to find the leak, fix it and install pumps to rectify the situation, you'll need scuba gear to explore the lower levels.

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

Cheaper if you buy in bulk..

I would sooner hop into the open ocean with a shark, an octopus, a cuttlefish and a squid than scuba dive in that hole.

Okay, that’s biased because none of those things inherently want to hurt humans so odds are good I’d be just fine. That hole on the other hand, is hella nasty.

After some quick Earf-ing, I feel that the greater site is due for another visit one of these days...

Let's do it!
The pics look amazing. Another comparison to then and now and it's amazing to see the differences.

Huh really! I'll be through Edmonton next week but I'm not sure I'll have any time for exploring.

What's earf-ing? Google Earth?

This place looks pretty cool. Am I the only person in Edmonton other than Lola who hasn't been here though?

Google Earf!

It's a pretty well known location, been standing for some time now by Edmonton standards. Check out the thread "sucker for the classics" to see more of what you've been missing out on.

p.s. good to see you back posting
