| | | Oh man, I still wish I had secretly recorded that guy. Basically, there's a guy who works security there, parks his little old sedan right out front. We saw him wandering around the main area looking for us, and he saw us multiple times, but never chased after us. That, combined with his mundane blue jacket and pants made us unsure if he was security. Anyway, when he finally caught us, he was like, "ok guys, go out the front door over there" while pointing vague directions. That went on for a few minutes until he finally escorted us out while ranting about how we were going to get a criminal record, go to jail, and be deadbeats, and him letting us go was doing us a favour and all.

| Aha, yeah our second time heading in my friend lowered himself in through the ceiling and immediately this security guy come out of nowhere. As I listened from the catwalks above, I could hear him droning onto my friend in the most monotone voice ever, repeating the same boring trespassing stuff over and over again. Nothing worse then when they don't stop talking!

| | | Posted by run-dashGO Can't believe that toronto hydro is still running electricity here. What a waste of electricity and of tax payer money.
| Actually I remember sometime in 2008 they had they're own hydro line put in since we had so many power outages and lost income. I believe it was fed from the Dixon substation, they might have a contract which they are stuck with until the land sale is completed. Tax payers wouldn't be on the hook for privately owned land. Kraft took possession of the building when they bought Nabisco who in turn purchased the Mr. C brand even before this place was built. I remember hearing the land was on 100yr lease or something like that. Fun fact, when that place was up and running... the hydro bill was around $200k/mnt.
