Warehouse in North Philadelphia < on 2/20/2017 1:20 AM > | Reply with Quote
Found this abandoned factory/warehouse near a train station in North Philly and went to go check it out. A few blocks to the northwest of it there's half a dozen other abandoned buildings that look kinda neat. I tried to do some research on this place but I couldn't find anything at all, so if any of you know anything about it I'd be interested to hear it.
In addition to some pictures I also got about 15 minutes of video inside. Around 6 minutes in I started hearing what sounded like someone walking up the stairs so I hid behind a wall. Other than that it's mostly just footage of me getting scared every time I trip over something that makes a loud noise.
I'm not sure if there was anyone in the tent, but I didn't really want to find out so I just skipped this floor.
Five stories up I realized there were no railings
This ladder didn't feel sturdy
Don't know what this was for. I'm guessing the building had something to do with trains.
Holy shit, I know this building. I was down doing some shooting in Philly, and just as I started approaching this building, I heard the telltale sound of a siren behind me. Sure enough, there was a cop who had just turned the corner and saw me. I got lucky, because someone had stolen the 'NO TRESPASSING' sign, so I only got a warning.

I couldn't find much on the history of the place either. I hit it up on new years 2014. That side street near it is actually pretty active. I'm lucky my friend and I got through without no one noticing us. For being empty it was still pretty neat. I remember climbing all over the top of that elevator room you showed, and enjoying the view from the roof.
