Thanks!
@mookster, it's insane huh? Though I have to admit that I've always skipped this one because it was looking to 'new' for me back in the days. I'm a sucker for decay and textures and now it has that rough edge to it. I only regret having missed the control room intact.
Most industrial sites are being plundered now in Belgium. Security is fading away and copper thieves are having a feast. At HF B I met three different groups of copper thieves casually stripping cables. The turbines of
this amazing hundred year old power plant have been ruined last month, which hurts extra because it was our own discovery at the end of 2016. It has been standing there forgotten for decades and the moment some other explorers start following our footsteps the copper thieves come and rip it apart. I found it hard to believe that this was a coincidence, but according to other explorers the groups of copper thieves are just moving from building to building in that area.
The Intercom/Electrabel grounds are now completely accessible and you can walk straight into the building, but they removed every single set of stairs to the first floor, so to get to the turbines you have to free climb a bit. Getting to the control room is something else too as most of the floor grating has been removed.
