Has anyone been down to see if the river is frozen to get in an oldie but goodie? I would like to to go back here before all the party people take it over for the winter haha.

You'll have to be more specific. There are a lot of rivers in Minnesota.

Several close associates have reported that the ice is "totally safe", but there was some kind of cracking and splashing noise immediately afterwards along with some rather colorful language.





Turn off the internet and go play outside.

If you are trying to do what I think you Are give it another week or 2 or throw on some full body wadders. this slightly warmer weather has delayed access to some of these locations or ya can always wait until summer and swim in =p

I might actually wait until summer, I heard it's not so bad plus I just keep adding other things to the list that seem much more productive.
