The pseudonym of this stone quarry says it all. Crazy place!
From here it's approximately 50 meters down a steep slippery slope. It's one of the tree openings where the mine carts used to be pulled out to collect the stones. The other two have collapsed.
I couldn't enter Indiana Jones' hangout without some home made torches of course.
There's a lot of rubble left behind, making it hard to walk around in some places.
The old mine carts are still there! Along with all sorts of leftovers of the ones who worked here.

Suddenly, with a grinding sound, the carts started moving again. Could it be the ghosts of the miners still pushing them around?

(I couldn't get the timing right with my camera shooting in interval mode, when I got home I discovered that all shots had captured nothing or only half a flame. I will go back some day and give it another try, for now I photoshopped in some more flames to make it look not too pathetic.)
Leaving the mine after the heavy climb back up the slope.
