This threads for those of you including myself that love construction sites. Doesn't have to be new commercial/residential construction can be as small as a front door repair at a neat old house or new house. I worked in construction for a year, and got to be in some unique perspectives of structures. If you have worked on a job and got some cool shots of places you've stood... ect. Post them here and feel free to write about your experience working on the site.
Also this thread can serve a secondary purpose and that is to encourage readers to either not go to work in construction because it sucks, or encourage some peeps to take up a trade school and work on some extraordinary projects in construction.
Despite not the greatest introduction I think this thread is worthy a place here on UER because there are so many variations of what could be posted here. Another thing that'd be great to see on this thread is pics of a place before when it was abandoned, then pics of the remodeling process, and pics of the location after complete renovations. As we all know some companies do a better job at preserving old buildings character and historic features then others.
This job was totally a mostly hell experience. Though I was only like 17 and working with guys over twice my age I complained in my head probably close to the most. This job was to replace the ductwork/tubing connecting from the top of the fart fans in the apartments restrooms to an outlet from the inside of the attic to the outside/roof. It sucked because there was all this blown in insulation in there that sucked to inhale, since it was so fricken hot that we refused to wear paper filter masks. It was summer time and like 80 degrees outside. In the attics it felt like 90 degrees.
Something cool about this job though despite being in the attics was getting to knock on just about every unit like 50 or so my partner and I did's door. Then we'd walk in with our boxes of duct hose super large zip ties and Milwaukee construction lights. It was pretty neat seeing how different people live.

Driving from project to project was fun in away almost simlar to UE in that I never knew exactly what the place I was going to would be like. Some houses were large others were small. Some places look completely gross on the outside and the inside surprisingly isn't as bad as some other houses that look clean on the outside. Also just driving from the shop to the job was very enjoyable because I got payed to just sit on my ass and mark on my google maps new locations of abandoned buildings and things I want to when I am not working go back to. I'd drive through a lot of areas in the state Oregon and Washington I'd never go to hadn't I been assigned a job there.

What's the point to this picture? Mold remediation lol. Ok I will go out of the house for some hours in a little bit. Don't let me down! Post some construction experience/infiltrations that blow everybody's minds. Highlight the UE in job sites.

Edit: I recognize how poorly written many of my sentences are. LOL however I am super excited to release this thread and can't wait to see and read others experiences. As a huge fan of Urban exploration and seeing whats on the other side of walls I get a kick of also seeing renovations and construction projects, also sneaking into construction projects is a lot of fun too. Post shots from your sneak in's here too. I will perhaps edit my post several times later, at another time besides the time that I click "Post New Thread". Cause I got to keep it real. I edit my posts cause I got the time ;)
Another thing that would be super awesome to see in this thread is pics and writings of explorations in which you guys's have been able to access a part of a building or spot only after/during a phase of construction. Perhaps they excavated/demolished a building leaving a wall missing which you could enter that part of the site. Prior to this demolition you couldn't access the area due to all the doors being super heavy and rusted shut.
