| | | Some areas are rich with killer sites like the NE. You need to learn what's where you are. What industries -were- or are there? Following RR tracks will also yield something of interest especially near towns and cities. Set your sights on industrial locations be it manufacturing, petrol, mining, etc. Old hospitals and resorts. Old RR infrastructure. The list is endless except in Kansas and Iowa... you're pretty much fucked if you live there Houses can be legally/owner problematic and most are a bore. I avoid them almost always unless they are old with character.

| Umm your forgot MA,NJ and PA, some of the best. It's so lonely in the state of Maine... An anger homeowner is worse trouble than any security guard. It's personal... Sites with security can be fun especially if they don't make you... Beth Steel.

| | | When you're living in a populated region someone's always been there before you. When you do the Google search, click over to "Images" and when you see something interesting, click on it, then click on "Visit Page". You'll eventually find out the name or address. Try to narrow your search by typing in "abandoned hospital Quebec" or "historic vacant building montreal" or whatever. Use your imagination and as many synonyms as you can. When "abandoned hospital" doesn't bring you what you need, try "historic sanitarium closed". Just go crazy when you're bored, nothing's on TV and it's raining. You find what you're looking for. Need directions? Go to BING MAPS and hit ROAD, then BIRD'S EYE. Type in the address, zoom in and look around the area for a place to park. Walking up the train tracks is fun but after an hour of that shit, you'll wished you had some more details.
