If I was fully confident in my upper body strength (which I'm not) then I wouldn't see a problem with this. Though when people walk on top of the crane then fuck that
My friend manhandled me up a roof once.

The fool is lucky to have survived. That 'stunt' wasn't under control at all. Had a hand cramped on him or if he lost his very sketchy foot purchase it been all over... the pavement.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I know what you're saying. I occasionally climb with parkour athletes, and they do similarly daring moves, but so within their comfort zone and skills that I needn't be fearful for them.
Like this guy at 3:29 - he's hanging just as high but I never worried about him.

Yeah, the little we can see of him didn't inspire much confidence in me. Also the observation that he "appeared disorientated" when they got him back to ground, if accurate, is concerning.

I'm really surprised he survived.

All that wind whistling through the holes in his head probably made him disoriented
