I'll get it back on track now, but in the future - if you post something in one of my threads that I might take as insulting or rude, you're going to hear about it. That's human nature. If you don't want to hear about it simply keep your comment to yourself. How I perceive a comment that's directed at me and how I respond to it is no one's business but my own. If you think what I post here is "BULLSHIT" move along to another thread. No one is making you read it. If no one reads my posts eventually I'll move on down the dusty trail. From time to time I see something here that someone else shared, sometimes they help me get out and see it for myself, sometimes not. Regardless, that's the only reason I post here too. I'm not here to piss anyone off, or to be pissed off but shit happens. So, moving on: As far as this location goes - I still don't know what to make of it. Others are still pm'ing, texting and calling me with their horror stories about the place. I saw little attempt to secure it and had no issues. That's all I can say about it, and it was worth the trip. I was a little disappointed at the time because I think (once again) I had unrealistic expectations of what the place was going to be like and as usual, it didn't stack up. But it's worth checking out if you get the chance. | Hey, I was just recently in both these locations - I was able to get a shitload of pictures from the first location (I was inside for like three hours) but I need to go through and process them. I didn't have any issues with the approach, entry, or anything else. It's surprisingly un-vandalized inside, but the weather has really taken its toll on the place. There's also a cool stable building to the south of the hotel that I got some pictures of before making my approach. And yeah, the second location is in really, really terrible shape. I got some interesting pictures, but it would've been really cool to get some shots that didn't include horrendous destruction in every frame. It's funny to see someone else taking recent pictures of these places, because I got some shots of exactly the same things - like the ironing board with the clothes still on it. How can you not take a picture of something like that. I posted a couple shots I took at these places over in the photography forum and I'll put up more when I'm done sorting through them.
