I finally got around to checking out this massive complex that was once a religious school for the disabled. We explored several buildings, including the school buildings themselves, a chapel and a few dormitory buildings, all connected by steam tunnels!
Unfortunately, we did have to skip the power plant due to a scrapper working. Luckily, i heard his power tool right as i was stepping inside, so i backed out before he saw me. We also had to skip the pool house due to the steam tunnel door being stuck. That's all okay, though. It just means i have to make a return trip!
I didn't take too many photos. I focused on room shots this time around. I'll be back for more, though!
1. The first building we entered, we immediately came upon the auditorium. Not a bad way to start off the explore!
After looking around the auditorium and first school building some, we decided to find the steam tunnels.
Once found, we journeyed towards the next school building.
2. A lot of the place is still in pretty good condition.
3.
4. The main thing time has been taking its toll on is the floors.
Back to the steam tunnels.
5. We didn't expect a chapel.
6. It was a pretty pleasant surprise!
7. Confessing our sins.
Apparently if we had looked under the chapel, we would've found the gymnasium. Something else to check out next time!
8. Hallway towards the cafeteria.
Once again, back to the tunnels.
9. Another school building, which contained the music and choir rooms and such.
10. One of the dormitories. I'm guessing this was a study area.
11. One last group shot before we exited the way we entered!
Thanks for looking!
