It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

Took a day trip to an abandoned coal mine. Not the most "Urb" of UrbEx, but we Edmontonians must make do with what's in our reach. At the very least, it gave me a chance to stretch my new-found photography muscles. This location hosts some excellent overgrown concrete, splintered aged timber & the odd excavation for your viewing pleasure. Straying further from the beaten path yielded some interesting debris & artifacts. Further investigation would no doubt have turned up more.

Awesome shots, I love the reclaimed stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Is there any more underground? That door looks inviting.

Ever since I was a kid I have always been fascinated by nature taking over what man leaves behind. Your photos are classic examples of what happens when we leave the natural world to itself.

Absolutely. The amount, condition, and accessibility of these workings is a whole 'nother can of worms though.

Unfortunately man this isn't from the river valley. The moment I find anything there, well, you can expect a call!
